The best restaurant with the best chef in Majorca: Spanish national Fernando P. Arellano treats his customers to diverse sensory impressions. Numerous awards, including “Newcomer of the Year” and “Chef of the Year”, are a testament to the passion of Fernando and his creative team, which includes British born Claire Hutchings runner up in Masterchef 2013. When Castell Son Claret opened in May 2013, Zaranda, which gained its first Michelin star in 2006 and the second Michelin star in November 2015, found a new home and has delighted its guests with culinary highlights ever since.

Zaranda was recommended as the best restaurant by “Der Feinschmecker”, an international culinary magazine published in Germany, and the restaurant’s Michelin star was reconfirmed in November 2013 and 2014 and then followed by the second star in Novmber 2015. The internationally renowned Robb Report also named Zaranda “Best of the Best 2014”.
